Welcome, dear prospective participant.
My name is Sydney Kuvarega. I am a survivor of misguided zeal, religious Christianity, and the traditions of men. I was found by Jesus Christ while aimlessly chasing shadows.
I have served joyfully as a pastor in two denominations and at present, I am not affiliated with any denomination. My assignment is purely apostolic serving the Body of Christ, across different cultures, facilitating the planting and growth of healthy, autonomous, local, organic churches aligned with biblical order in various communities. Within the Household of Faith network of churches, I consider myself a facilitator, not a founder.
This background matters because Solid Food does not flow from theory, ambition, or rebellion, but from my journey, pruning, and divine permission from the Lord.
2. The Solid Food Vision
The prevailing vision many hold of Christianity is this: get saved, have your sins forgiven, wait to die and go to heaven, and in the meantime be good, win some souls and stay busy with ministry.
God’s vision is far greater.
Scripture speaks of a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle—yet many have observed these promises from a distance, postponed their reality, or pushed them into the afterlife.
There must arise a generation that becomes the living proof of what the Scriptures declare.
We believe this is not a generation saying “He is coming” only—but a people able to say, “Behold, He is among us.”
Just as all the prophets prophesied until John, and John declared, “He is here,” so the hour has now come when true worshippers must worship the Father in Spirit and Truth (reality). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of reality.
The Bible is more than words—it is a world you can step into.
3. The Nature of the Invitation — “Let Us”
This is not a platform for preaching. It is a shared journey.
“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection…” (Hebrews 6:1)
The phrase “let us” is central. You and me.
I am not inviting you to listen to sermons, but to walk together, positively challenge one another, and participate in a process of growth.
This invitation is for those who:
- Are done with milk
- Are weary of religious Christianity
- Desire progress, advancement, and maturity
As we behold, we are changed. We move from infancy to maturity, becoming sons and daughters able to fully manifest the divine life in every place where God has planted us.
4. Leaving the Foundation — Not Forsaking It
Leaving the basics does not mean despising them.
When you graduate from preschool or elementary school, you do not reject what you learned—you build on it. Staying in foundational stages beyond their appointed season, however, becomes problematic.
The foundation is meant to be buried beneath a growing structure, not continually uncovered and relaid.
Repentance, faith, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection, and eternal judgment are essential—but they are not the destination.
“God helping us, we will move on to deeper truths.” (Hebrews 6:3)
5. Solid Food: What This Is About
“But strong meat belongs to those who are of full age, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” (Hebrews 5:14)
Solid food is not for survival—it is for strength, discernment, and maturity. Scripture teaches that solid food belongs to the mature, yet it is also the means by which maturity is produced. Solid food is not reserved only for those who have arrived, but for those who desire to grow.
Just as infants are gradually introduced to solid food, and through repeated exposure their capacity to digest increases, so believers grow into maturity by engaging deeper truth. As solid food is received and exercised, discernment develops, strength increases, and growth follows.
In Solid Food Class:
- Vessels are cleaned and prepared for the Master’s use
- Growth happens through exercise, not excitement
- There are stages of development, not shortcuts
This is a place of beholding and becoming, not information transfer.
We are not attempting to make things happen. These are realities God:
- Planned before the ages
- Executed through Christ
- Freely gave to us
Religion has hidden them; but thanks be unto God, the Spirit reveals them.
6. The Destination
The goal is maturity, fullness, perfection, function — until we all come.
Jesus is the Lord of glory, and He came to bring many sons to glory. Our glorification was not an afterthought—it was God’s desire and perfect will.
Until we reach maturity, we cannot fully:
- Exhibit divine life
- Fulfil our mandate
- Represent Christ accurately in the earth
This is not ambition—it is obedience.
7. Wisdom, Permission & Discernment
In earlier years, I shared everything the Lord revealed to me without discernment of audience or timing. Though some were helped, others were harmed.
Scripture taught me restraint:
- Daniel was told to seal words until an appointed time.
- Paul heard things in the third heaven which he could not freely utter.
- Jesus withheld certain truths to the disciples until the Spirit was given.
- The writer of Hebrews restrained deeper truths regarding Melchizedeck due to immaturity of the hearers.
I learned that revelation requires permission—from God and from the condition of the hearer. Glory! Permission has been granted from the Lord to stir those who are ready.
8. The Present Crisis
Jesus said, “Behold, I give you power”—yet where is it?
The world is growing tired of explanations without evidence. Our youths are often more captivated by technology than by Christ.
There must be more than:
- Sermons without substance
- Christianity without impact
- Faith that fears what the world fears
Solid Food exists because there is more. It's time we give physical manifestations to the spiritual realities.
9. A Loving Warning — This Is Not for Everyone!
As much as we desire growth for all, progression has criteria. If you are not the right person, this will be the wrong message.
Not everyone advances to every level. What is a foundation for one may be a roof for another.
This journey requires:
- Hunger
- Teachability
- Endurance
- Willingness to be exercised
If you are content with shallow waters, this may not be your path.
If you are tired of empty religion and shadows and desire reality—pray, discern, and continue the conversation.
10. Practical Structure
To support depth without haste, Solid Food will follow a simple but intentional structure:
- Duration: Each subject runs for a maximum of 6 weeks. Depth is prioritized over volume.
- Format: In-person and/online gatherings once a week. (We communicate finer details with the shortlisted persons)
- Rhythm: Teaching, dialogue, and exercise/practice. Truth is not only heard but worked out.
This structure exists to allow truth to settle, mature, and be practiced—not rushed.
11. Relationship to the Local Church
Solid Food does not replace the local church it exists as a part of The Household Of Faith Network of Churches whose goal is support the planting, growth and sustenance of local churches.
Participants are expected to:
- Remain planted and submitted to their local church fellowship.
- Continue serving faithfully where God has already planted them
This initiative exists to strengthen local churches, not extract from them..
There is:
- No sheep-stealing
- No parallel authority structures
- No gathering of the offended who refuse healing
- No refuge for the rebellious who avoid resolution
Healthy growth is always connected to healthy planting.
12. Participation Criteria — A Matter of Posture
Solid Food is for those who meet the following criteria:
- A born-again believer, planted in the church.
- A desire to grow and become more effective where God has placed you.
- A teachable spirit, willing to be challenged by God’s Word.
- Flexibility to submit to Scripture as final authority, adjusting beliefs and practices where necessary.
These are not qualifications of gifting, calling, or visibility—but qualifications of posture.
13. Who This Initiative Is Not For
Solid Food is not for:
- Those seeking titles, recognition, or influence
- Church-hoppers or those in unresolved conflict with leadership
- People resistant to accountability
- Spectators who only consume
- Those unwilling to submit their views to Scripture
Before proceeding, consider honestly:
- Are you planted?
- Are you teachable?
- Are you willing to be exercised, not entertained?
14. The Nature of the Journey
This is a journey, not a course to complete.
Participants should expect:
- Time, prayer, study, and reflection
- Discomfort as growth exposes and stretches
- Long-held assumptions to be challenged
- Pruning, not just addition
Growth into maturity is intentional, sometimes painful, and always purposeful.
15. Discernment Before Proceeding
Even though we only have space for 30 people, Please do not rush.
Pray. Count the cost. Seek clarity.
